Punica granatum
The pomegranate tree is a tropical tree that has many virtues in its antioxidant fruits that fight against cardiovascular disease and cancer. Pomegranate also has depurative and diuretic properties, it is also a powerful anti-inflammatory. For the adult, and from 20 to 40 gr.
For the child, in concentrated decoction in 1 liter of water.
Juicy, you can squeeze the fruit to burst the pulp of the fruit and drink the juice through a straw my variety gave fruit after about 34 months fruiting begins at about 3 years. it is very resistant to drought and it supports calcareous soils, clay soils it resists very well to rainy weather.
Harvest
Here are some pictures of my personal harvest, it has been planted since 2016 and bore fruit towards the end of 2018 the fruits take a little time to ripen, they must be well colored and about the size of a tennis ball. The largest fruit weighing 267 grams.
